Tom's shop is gone. It is now one big empty space. He did preserve his door and whenever we find a spot to build a new shop (hobby-size) and studio (for me), we'll make that door our entrance.

I began this blog as a way of connecting our four adult children to our lives and travels and to each other's (Family, Travels). But being a political being and an enthusiastic reader, I have to include observations and comments about the current political scene and (so called) captains of industry and their impact on such present day issues as economic and social inequality (Dissing). Occasionally, I am moved to write about other subjects, such as books, movies or artists I particularly like (Tidbits).
