Forty is a benchmark year and Cherise celebrated her birthday with some great friends and much fanfare. The kids had fun too (and there were many) with a bouncey house of epic proportions. The Bat Man theme may not say -- Big 4-0 -- but somehow it suited the day. Dave Anderson, Blue Ridge Barbeque, saved the day with smoked pork shoulder that combined with his signature barbeque sauce made the most delicious pulled-pork sandwiches.
